Recall and Reminder Systems
Reminders are conducted for various conditions such as immunisations, diabetic care, pap smears etc. Please inform your doctor if you do not wish to receive reminders.
Our practice also participates in National and State or Territory reminder registers which include:
- Pap smear registry www.health.qld.au/cervicalscreening/
- Australian Childhood Immunisation Register www.medicareaustralia.gov.au
Recall systems are used to recall patients back to the surgery to consult a doctor or to discuss a report, test or results. Usually recalls are used for clinically significant tests and results whether they are pathology, X-ray, specialists and cinical correspondence.
