The practice will forward pre-assessment forms, (or download and bring with you) please complete the forms and bring to your appointment *Please note these forms need to be fully completed prior to the consultation. In order to avoid extended appointment time charges you will need to complete the vaccination history table at the bottom of the form.
You may need to ask your GP or family for information on your vaccinations or childhood diseases.
Your visit will include a half hour consultation with a qualified doctor with expertise in travel health. Included is a free pocket medical guide including international vaccination certificates as well as a report on the country you are visiting (total value $31.90).
All vaccinations are dispensed on site with techniques to minimise discomfort, and severe side effects are rare. However, we suggest that you stay for about 20 minutes after your injections and it is a World Health Organisation requirement that patients are observed for half an hour following a yellow fever injection. Please take this into account when planning your day.

Please note that payment is required at time of visit. The initial half hour consultation fee is $85 per person for which you can claim $62.30 rebate from Medicare, with further consultations being $50.00 per person for which you can claim $32.80 rebate from Medicare.
Shorter consultations and discounts for families and groups are available by individual arrangement.
If a vaccine is given by a nurse there is a further $10.85 charge, which is however, completely claimable through Medicare.
Corporate consultations may be charged to your company by prior arrangement.
The cost of any injections and/or medications that are required are partly claimable via private health extras cover. (Check with your Health Fund)

A cancellation fee will apply unless more than 24 hours notice is given.
